Stefan Sommer Jagd (b. 1997)

Copenhagen based freelance portrait, fashion and documentary photographer.

With over 15 years of experience in fashion and commercial, my journey as a photographer has been shaped by a deep understanding of both visual storytelling and the art of capturing emotion with a commercial apsect. My roots in fashion photography laid the foundation for my later work as a photojournalist.

I earned my formal groundwork education as a commercial photographer before refining my skills in photojournalism at the renowned DMJX, Aarhus. It was during my internship at Fyens Stiftstidende and TKM that I discovered another passion for documenting culture and people working in it. From musicians and dancers to performers and actors, I specialize in capturing moments that tell a compelling story about the people who shape our creative world.

My work is driven by the belief that every image has the power to convey the spirit of its subject; whether it's the energy of a live performance, the depth of an actor becoming the role of a lifetime, or the unique beauty of an individual.
